This year's Marvel Party was slightly better than 2012's. Last year it was super boring, and there wasn't much to do. I have no idea why Club Penguin extended it for an extra week. My only guess is they wanted to give people more time to meet Aunt Arctic, but she was easy to find. That was when I first met her, anyways enough about the past. Let's talk about the present Marvel party.
The decorations threw me off a little. The island looked completely different (like during the Prehistoric Party in January). It took me a few minutes to get used to the new design and recognize what room I was in.
Is it bad I tried to go into these buildings? |
I stressed myself out trying to earn the Super Hero Hoodie. You had to make it to space in Power Up and destroy the meteor to beat the game. It took me a day, but with practice and lots of patience I finally got it. I was so happy and relived! There are so many problems with the mini-game. There's a delay between when you move the cursor and your penguin following it. That's why it took me so long to master the game. You can watch one of my many failed attempts.
It took me forever to get this screenshot |

Overall, this years Marvel Superhero Takeover had some good and bad parts. It was definitely better than last years even with the extra work which could be time consuming. Club Penguin should cut down on the time required to get so called "free" items. Time is money after all. I wonder if this party will be annual now since so many people like it.
Party Rating: 8/10
Did you like the Marvel Party?
This party was pretty good. It's nice to see I wasn't the only one who tried to enter the buildings at the Snow Forts. ;)
