The End of an Era

Hi everyone. It's me Supercuty06! Since Club Penguin is closing this month, I decided to write one last post about my experience playing it since August 20, 2007. Almost ten years ago. Time goes by so fast! It seems like just yesterday I was setting up my account and logging in for the first time. Every once in a while someone asks me how I came up with my username. Here's the breakdown:

"Super" because I like superheroes.
"cuty" is spelled with a Y because I wanted to be unique.
"06" looks better than 07 in my opinion (not to be confused with 007).

One of my favorite memories while playing Club Penguin was digging out the Dojo back in 2008 after a storm that made a hole in the roof. We got to meet Sensei for the first time, even though we didn't know his name yet. After the Dojo was repaired, there was a big party and ninja training began soon after!

A close second is discovering the Club Penguin community on Twitter! Way back in July 2012 there used to be a private server called "Pengable". Graser10 and Waltdisney6 were the creators if I'm not mistaken. I originally made a Twitter account with the name Darksupacuty* and eventually changed it to Supercuty06 after Pengable shut down.

Club Penguin Combining the Card Jitsu Games

As you may have heard, Club Penguin will be combining Card Jitsu Fire, Water, and Snow into the Dojo. The Ninja Hideout will most likely be removed FOREVER! This is a terrible day in Club Penguin history. I loved the whole concept of having a room just for expert ninjas. It made becoming a ninja special to me. I remember being so happy a few years ago when I finally beat Sensei and earned my ninja mask but the best part was having access to the Ninja Hideout. Now it will be gone in a few days!

What's going to happen to the Martial Artworks catalog? Hopefully, Club Penguin will add it to the Dojo or else no-one will be able to buy the ninja items anymore. The Ninja Meeting stamp is very difficult to earn. Will it disappear from my Stamp Book? There are so many unanswered questions...

Playing Ninja O Dark in Card Jitsu

Ninja O Dark was on Club Penguin tonight so I got to challenge him to a Card Jitsu duel and won! He's a really good player. The last time I played him a few months ago he beat me but I got my revenge! Plus I got it on video! You can watch it here.

Card Jitsu Shadow: When Will Shadow Ninjas Arrive on Club Penguin?

One of my sources told me that the Shadow Ninja items have been added back to the Club Penguin database after being deleted for a while. A couple of days ago I was on my Club Penguin test account playing Card Jitsu with someone and he used the Shadow Ninja power card!

  About a year ago there was a rumor about a video with Happy77 wearing the Shadow Ninja outfit. Some people think it's fake. You can watch it here and decided for yourself:















I emailed Club Penguin Support and they said:

It's wonderful to hear from you. I can see that you are looking to extend your knowledge in the ninja arts. While I have never come across a 'Shadow Ninja' in my time on the island, I have heard many rumors of other penguins having caught a glimpse of this legendary figure.

Not much is known about the shadow ninja as this figure tends to be quite secretive. From what I've heard, you need only blink and you may miss your chance to see one. Until we unlock this secret, I'm not sure whether there could be a way of training towards this art. I wonder if Sensei could shed some light on this elusive legend for us? This may be a question that we'll need to ask him the next time we see him on the island.

Hmm interesting...Also I recently found out about this video thanks to the same source who posted it on Club Penguin Wiki and told me about it. The video itself was posted on YouTube by the Portuguese moderator Gajotz. UPDATE: Someone just told me that the account is fake and not used by Club Penguin.

Card Jitsu Snow

The original Card Jitsu is one of my favorite games and I've been waiting a long time for Card Jitsu Snow to come out. It should have been released in 2011 since Card Jitsu came out in 2008. This is what the Dojo looked like during the party.

Card Jitsu Fire came out the next year and Card Jitsu Water came out in 2010 but Club Penguin has been delaying Card Jitsu Snow's release year after year. Polo Field has already confirmed that it's not coming out in 2012. But I have good news. It's coming out NEXT year in 2013! Spike Hike posted about it on Twitter with a picture of the office where people are working on it.
