Club Penguin's 8th Anniversary

Today is Club Penguin's 8th Anniversary! To celebrate a lot of moderators came online today including Businessmoose, Daffodaily5, and many others. Here are some of the pictures I took.

The Best Spike Saturday Ever

Billybob and Spike came on the server Fog for Spike Saturday. It was a very special day because Billy has retired from Club Penguin so it was like a goodbye party. Both of them are on my friends list and I even got to play Billybob in Sled Racing! I lost though. This is a short video I recorded of the event:

Famous Club Penguin Moderators Becoming Mascots

  According to Polo Field, moderators such as Spike Hike, Businesmoose, etc. will eventually become mascots. This is got to be the worst idea I have ever heard. Disney has been going some really dumb things but this just tops it all. The whole purpose of moderators logging on Club Penguin is to talk to players about the game and answer their questions. Now they will just be reduced to predetermined phrases that mean nothing. The only good thing about this is that you can get stamps for meeting them. I wonder if the actual mods will be controlling the mascots or someone else will.

Server Jumping on Club Penguin

Back in the old days the term "server jumping" meant logging in to different servers back to back when tracking mascots. According to Spike Hike Server Jumping might come out this year but it's complicated. Why did Club Penguin tell us this was coming back in 2011 when it was going to take 2 years or longer for it to come out? That's not cool. Hopefully it will be released soon because mascots will be much easier to find using it.
