The party was awesome! It was so cool being able to turn into different dinosaurs. My favorite is the pteranodon. I've always wanted to fly since I was a little kid. You can watch a video of me turning into one here:
Dino Dig has got to be the worst mini-game ever. It's just a one player version of Treasure Hunt with a twist. I got a little stressed out trying to collect every single egg in one session of playing. I failed, but at least I found the hardest one(for me) the next time I logged on thanks to one of my friends who told me which pit to dig in.
My favorite room at this party was the Iceberg. Now we know why it's so hard to tip, there's a humongous dinosaur frozen inside! It looks like some kind of shark...

Over all the Prehistoric Party was nice but they shouldn't do this every year. I don't think they will.

LET ME HEAR YOU MAKE SOME NOISE! Do you want to know why? Because there's been a post on the official Club Penguin blog saying you, that's right, YOU can beta test Card Jitsu Snow next month!!!! When I read it I screamed for joy and started shaking because I was so excited. My mom thought I was going to break the chair.
This is epic news! There's hasn't been a real Beta Testing project since the CPIP (Club Penguin Improvement Project) back in 2008. Unfortunately, even though I played CP during that time I missed out on it and never got the special red construction helmet. There was another minor testing project in 2011 called The Beta Team where you could play different concept games that may or may not be released in Club Penguin. You can still play them here. Anyway, back to Card Jitsu Snow. I've been waiting to it to come out for years! It should have been released in 2011 and that was a little over 2 years ago! I'm so glad we can finally play it.

In my opinion, the newspaper is more like a newsletter since it's only one double sided page now instead of 15+ pages like it used to be back in 2009. Over the years, since 2009, Club Penguin is becoming more and more lazy. You can read an old issue of the newspaper here with the old layout compared to the current one:
The only reason they made it shorter was because it was taking up a lot of time but CP has a lot more staff now. It shouldn't be that hard to make a longer newspaper.

Warning the following post is rated PG because of content not suitable for children under the age of 12. I can't believe I thought January's Penguin Style was bad. February's is so much worst! First the penguin design had to change now, the clothing and accessories are weird. It was hard to tell the gender of the penguin at first but I had a feeling it was a boy. When the image of the cover was first posted on the official Club Penguin blog in another language the penguin was pink so most people assumed that it was a girl.
I had a feeling it was a guy because of the hair and it turns out I was right. When CP posted it on the English blog the penguin's color was changed to blue and the pose was different.
So to all of you people who thought it was a female, what do you have to say now? Just admit the fact that it's a gay guy. Club Penguin is becoming way too mature. People my age are not their target market. It's supposed to be a kids game and I don't think they should be exposed to stuff like this at a young age. Whatever happened to innocence? What do you think of the cover of February's Penguin Style catalog?
A money maker is a website or program that allows you to be able to get coins on your Club Penguin account without earning them by playing mini-games or using a code, which is a form of cheating. An example is clubpenguincoins.com. They're risky because you can get banned if you use them on a regular basis. I personally have never used one because I've always been scared of getting banned and my account is VERY important to me since it's rare. Have you ever used money makers?
Since many of you probably have no idea what Armies are I decided to do some research and find out. According to the Club Penguin Army Wiki an army is a team or a group of penguins on CP that may use snowballs or clothing as a weapon during a war (with another army).
Alternatively, they may be a peaceful activity group, and compete with
minigames or with other armies in
single-player games through scores. Some armies are terrorists,
attacking random players at random times, and fighting Club Penguin
itself. Armies will often have a specific uniform so that everybody will
be recognized. Some Armies may become allies with each other and form
an Alliance.
I had to opportunity to talk to someone who's a former army member. She would like to keep her identity a secret.Here's what she had to say: Each army has ranks based on the Xat chat positions of Main, Owner, Mod, and Member. You have to be very active to get mod or owner. Only army leaders can become a Main Owner. There are websites that keep track of armies and rate them weekly in a top 10. The two largest ones are cpsmac.com/ and http://cparmycentral.com.
Army's have allies and enemies. In a war, most armies will fight an enemy and sometimes bring in an ally to help. If an army fails by losing troops, servers in a war, or (I think) a leader closing it down, it is considered "dead."
I asked her why she first joined an army. She said they do this thing called "chat recruiting." She was on a Xat chat early last year and the person flattered her into joining the army by saying she was a "pro Club Penguin player" then he gave her the link to the armies chat and website. Eventually she quit because she was becoming popular and other people were asking her to join their armies and she couldn't say know. Over time she became apart of 7 different ones! She got overloaded with all of the army activity and didn't have time to do other things so she quit all of them.
So the point of all this is to get your thoughts on armies. Have you ever joined an army? Are you apart of one now? Do you like armies or do you think they're annoying and pointless? Tell me your opinion in the comments.
I miss the old buddy list because you could see what users were in a room so it was easier to get mascot's backgrounds instead of having to use the chat history tab which takes longer because people are always crowding whoever it is. Plus it had no bugs! The current friends list always has something wrong with it like when you finally met a mascot you can't add them! That's what happened to me when I met Rocky at the Ultimate Jam last July. It was so frustrating!

According to Polo Field, moderators such as Spike Hike, Businesmoose, etc. will eventually become mascots. This is got to be the worst idea I have ever heard. Disney has been going some really dumb things but this just tops it all. The whole purpose of moderators logging on Club Penguin is to talk to players about the game and answer their questions. Now they will just be reduced to predetermined phrases that mean nothing. The only good thing about this is that you can get stamps for meeting them. I wonder if the actual mods will be controlling the mascots or someone else will.

In my opinion, the new penguin look is retarded! I think the art department was drunk when they designed it. There's a good chance that could actually be possible because a Club Penguin Staff member posted a picture of beer on Instagram and then locked his account when someone tweeted it. CP Staff shouldn't be allowed to drink during work hours. They can make critical mistakes like this design. If you haven't seen it yet here's a picture from the new Penguin Style catalog:
The beak and feet look so weird and the eyes remind me of Mickey Mouse. Disney is trying to disnify our penguins! This is really bad, and it gets worse. There are some really strange subconscious messages in the catalog too.

It would be beyond wrong if this was a foreshadowing of Club Penguin
making it so penguins could have chicks (the name for baby penguins). I highly doubt that would happen though. Club Penguin isn't that crazy. At least, I don't think they are...
One of my sources told me that the Shadow Ninja items have been added back to the Club Penguin database after being deleted for a while. A couple of days ago I was on my Club Penguin test account playing Card Jitsu with someone and he used the Shadow Ninja power card!
About a year ago there was a rumor about a video with Happy77 wearing the Shadow Ninja outfit. Some people think it's fake. You can watch it here and decided for yourself:

Hmm interesting...Also I recently found out about this video thanks to the same source who posted it on Club Penguin Wiki and told me about it. The video itself was posted on YouTube by the Portuguese moderator Gajotz. UPDATE: Someone just told me that the account is fake and not used by Club Penguin.

This years Holiday Party was the best ever in all 5 that I've been to! It was so cool being able to turn into reindeer puffles and Frost Bites! I don't understand the race car though. It has nothing to do with Christmas. This is a video of me turning into a Frost Bite for the first time:

The Christmas Countdown items were great! In my opinion, the best one is the Frost Bite Palace! It's so cool! I bet it might even become rare someday.
Coins for Change was amazing this year. In 6 days we raised over 10 billion coins and the coin counter broke! The grand total was 13.7 billion! I'm glad playing a virtual game will help real people and our environment.
Now I will tell you about some of the personal milestones and highlights for me during the Holiday Party 2012. I got Rockhopper's stamp on my main account. Now I have all the mascot stamps! Its weird that I had him on my friend's list but I didn't have the stamp. I was also able to add him on my test penguin! No, I'm not going to tell you the name of it. It's a secret.
Also, I earned all the stamps in Treasure Hunt!
I had money to spare so after a year of waiting I finally got the "Epic Volunteer" stamp by giving
10,000 coins to Coins For Change.
After tons of tries I finally got to the top of the Bakery! There's a snowball in the picture because went I first got there some girl got mad at me for knowing the secret and started throwing snowballs. Then she just left.
The biggest highlight was when I met Graser for the first time and got to be in one of his videos! You can watch it below:
If you can't see me I'm the Ice Princess dressed in all white. Did you know that Card Jitsu is my favorite game on Club Penguin? Well, I had a really rare experience when I was able to play it with Trainman1405 and I beat him!!!! That was one of the best moments I've ever had on CP. I'm glad I got evidence.
Maybe I should schedule a meetup in case any of you want to challenge me. I have a secret system that works 90% of the time as long as I concentrate. Speaking of CJ challenges I once played Ninja O Dark but he beat me. I almost won but he had more power cards than me.
The next week Trainman had a stamp earning party and I was finally able to get the extreme igloo stamp! It's a really hard stamp to earn because you need 30 penguins in your igloo to get it. I'm so glad he came to my igloo.
Anyway that's everything that happened at the Holiday Party for me this year.
Back in the old days the term "server jumping" meant logging in to different servers back to back when tracking mascots. According to Spike Hike Server Jumping might come out this year but it's complicated. Why did Club Penguin tell us this was coming back in 2011 when it was going to take 2 years or longer for it to come out? That's not cool. Hopefully it will be released soon because mascots will be much easier to find using it.

Today is the first day of 2013! I wonder if Club Penguin will ever have a real New Years Party instead of just fireworks. Speaking of fireworks for the first time ever they didn't have any at the Iceberg or Mountain! Instead they put them in the Snow Forts where you can barely see them.
